Hi, I’m Briana Mathias. I started in public accounting and financial leadership quickly becoming a trusted CFO and strategic advisor to many businesses. That foundation led me to commercial real estate, where I combined financial clarity with ownership insight to help owners and businesses thrive. I’m a licensed Commercial Real Estate Broker and CPA with over 15 years of experience helping business owners grow smarter, scale faster, and make confident financial decisions. My career began in public accounting, where I learned the ins and outs of financial systems, tax strategy, and business operations. Over time, I realized that many entrepreneurs and investors needed more than just compliance—they needed a strategic partner. That insight led me to launch my own advisory practice focused on fractional CFO services and financial consulting for small businesses. Today, I bring that same financial lens to my work in commercial real estate. Whether I’m helping a business find its next office, structuring an investment sale, or advising a founder on cash flow and growth, my goal is the same: to help clients build lasting value by providing clarity to make smarter financial decisions.

I’m based in Portland, Oregon and work with clients across industries who want a high-level partner who understands both numbers and strategy—and isn’t afraid to tell the truth about what’s really holding them back. Out of the office, you’ll find me hanging out with my family in Sun River, playing at the park with my son, practicing pilates at my favorite local studio, or drinking a good cup of coffee.

  • I focus on investment sale opportunities in land, industrial and office products for business owners and investors. I also specialize in development projects and multi-family or retail focused assets.

  • Yes! I love working with small businesses just like I did before. I specialize in working with small businesses that are newer to buying their first commercial real estate property. I also love supporting small businesses as a fractional CFO.

  • Brokers are compensated by commissions when the deal or transaction is completed. Typically, the Seller or Landlord pay the fee to both the Seller/Listing Broker and Buyer/Tenant Rep Broker. There are times when this is not the case and the Buyer or Tenant may need to support compensating the broker for their time. This is discussed prior to starting a project.

  • At this time, leasing is not an area of focus for me, but let me know what you need and I can always refer you to someone on my team who is an expert in the specific area.

  • A Fractional CFO provides high-level financial leadership on a part-time or project basis—giving your business the expertise of a Chief Financial Officer without the cost of a full-time hire.

  • This is dependent on many factors including the location and general market climate. We can find something quickly, but it also depends on your preferences, timing and budget. Commercial real estate transactions typically take much longer than residential real estate, so that is something to always keep in mind.
