From Numbers to Negotiations: My Journey into Commercial Real Estate
Growing up, I always loved math and numbers. There was something about the logic and structure that just made sense to me. But along the way, I realized what I loved even more—helping people understand those numbers in a way that actually empowers them to make better decisions. That’s what led me to become a CPA, working closely with businesses to navigate their financials, plan for growth, and maximize their opportunities.
Over time, my work naturally gravitated toward commercial real estate. I spent years in commercial property management, seeing firsthand how strategic real estate decisions can impact a business’s success. Now, as a commercial real estate broker, I bring that same financial and strategic mindset to every transaction. I don’t just help clients find space or close deals—I help them make real estate decisions that truly support their long-term goals.
I also value the relationship side of business just as much as the numbers. My approach is rooted in client service, ensuring that my clients feel informed, confident, and supported every step of the way.
One area I’m especially passionate about is empowering more women to step into commercial real estate—whether as investors, business owners, or industry professionals. Too often, women feel like they need permission to take up space in this field, but the truth is, commercial real estate is full of opportunity. That’s why I created The Women’s Guide to Investing in Commercial Real Estate—a resource to help women feel confident in taking that next step.

A little more about me: I grew up in the Pacific Northwest and am now raising my family here. When I’m not working, you’ll find me spending time with my family and friends, or planning my next trip—travel has always been a huge passion of mine. Fun fact: I once lived abroad in South Korea! Ask me to tell you the stories in our first meeting.
